Inspired by Bast, the goddess of fertility and joy, who was depicted in early times with the head of a lion to show her war like side, but later in the New Kingdom of Egypt gained the head of a house cat.  The Egyptian short sword features solid metal handle parts cast with intricate details and an antique plated finish.  The precisely tempered blade is 420SS.
